Just heard Harold Ford TN (D) on MSNBC -- sounds like he is thinking about taking on Gephardt for the leadership. As I've previously mentioned on this thread, he is a Democrat that I believe has true character, and if he were to replace Gephardt I think it could be a real step forward for the Dems. My impression of Ford is that he is honest -- and in my view, the one characteristic most solely needed by the Dems right now is honesty.
