When the Senate was called for the Republicans last night I let out a huge sigh of relief knowing that the appointment of honest, law abiding judicial nominees would now go forward.

This will definitely be the most important result of yesterday's elections along with a Homeland Security Bill IMO.

We can all breath a bit easier now knowing democracy is alive and well. That it will be preserved for the foreseeable future, and that the '60s liberal/socialist takeover of the '90s has been thwarted.

Democracy is cumbersome, slow and inefficient, but in due time, the voice of the people will be heard and their latent wisdom will prevail.
