I think if you had a lot of money, Barney would represent your interests.

I also think that those who choose not to participate are a great danger to our system of government which relies on an educated and involved electorate. Without people voting, and voting with knowledge, our government will slide into a cesspool of self interest, and ineptitude, and then it will simply cease to exist. Democracy is a fragile thing. When you look at all human history, you can see just how rare and unusual it is. I do worry about the citizens who will not or can not participate. I worry about them mostly for my own sake, because I love what we have in this country.

If you do not worry about voting, and knowledge and access, I don't see how you can really care for America as a democracy.
