I think it is easy to make mistakes. However much I like Bush, I concede that Bush can be accused of not doing anything till Sep 11th if one is small minded. The same way Clinton can be accused. I dislike dumping on responsible people when it is clear that we don't know all the details and that it is difficult to be right all the time...

It was not just that he was asleep at the wheel, the whole country, including CIA, FBI, the army - EVERYTHING was asleep and unmindful of the lurking danger. It is Bush's response that earned him kudos not his pre-sep11th behavior.

Let's stop the blame game and rejoice a beautiful victory by Bush and work on getting democracy into Iraq!
