JT, you're interest in small and micro-caps is OK if they make up a small portion of your portfolio. I am concentrating on the mid to large caps for a move of 10 - 20%.

Going through your list of jr. miners, I don't follow those, but can say that you could have been better off with PDG which has rallied from 10 year lows at $13 to todays close of $16.33. I got lucky and got in below $13 for various reasons.

CSY looks interesting to me, and I regret no nibbling at $1.20. It's probably the best of the techs you have listed. JDU could good trader. Like yourself, I avoided NT due to the concern of a consolidation and burn rates.

An alternative to FCT which I could kick myself for not picking up was GLE which was trading well below cash per share of $3.80. Alternatively, I picked up HHO which at $2.40 looks interesting as they have $5.80 cash/share. TD has been recommending it in their Morning Notes.

At this stage of the market, I am trying to avoid the more speculative stocks, sticking more with established companies or those with earnings, and those with a cash horde.

Good Luck.

LOOK AT TOMmy, finally hitting double digits..... ;(

Ciao

P.S. I noticed not only is this thread dead, but most of the ones on SI are pretty quiet, this adds to my belief that most investors have hid and will flock to the large caps first
