I'll second that sentiment. We need some fresh partisan blood in that position. The GOP has some good new talent (no pun intended) coming into the Senate. Give Sununu a couple of years and he is going to be a major presence in the party. A very articulate, no BS type of guy.

I was just struck by the weirdness of the spouse status of Bill Clinton and Bob Dole. I wonder what they will talk about when they are tagging along with the Senators. My guess is that they get along better than Hillary and Elizabeth. Shame on Bob, but it is hard to get too upset with him. BTW, I think that Liddy Dole could take Hillary Clinton in a smack down. Don't be fooled by that southern gentility. She is one tough cookie. :)

You might want to check out "The Donkey's Inn" thread. Poor Mephisto has spent the day posting to herself and comparing GW to Osama bin Laden. Somebody get a net.
