jpg: I understand how you feel BUT IMO the owner of The Giants could have handled Dusty Baker in a more diplomatic way...The best owners and executives must work very hard to attract, motivate AND retain their top talent. This is essential. It may be tough to replace someone like Dusty Baker...Of course, I'm secretly hoping the Cubs will come to a mutually beneficial agreement with him..;-)....Baker would know how to effectively channel Sammy Sosa's talent and re-focus the Cubs so they could reach their full potential as a baseball team...There is a lot of talk about Baker in Chicago and most folks would really like to see him make a move here...its a personal decision though -- it depends on the offer he may get, the potential chemistry with Tribune company management, and his passion for taking on a major new challenge...we'll see what happens.
