Also, Why P < $1? Is it really necessary to look at penny stocks to find the best jan effect candidates? My thoughts are: (1) Many investors shun them as junk quality (2) They have delisting risk if they are Nasdaq (3) They tend to have inordinately high bid/ask spread (4) Is it possible that low market cap might be just as good or better criterion?
