John Ascroft's hymn for the Bush administration supports violence and terrorism.
I wouldn't be surprised if John Ascroft owned two dozen Bushmaster rifles,
the rifle the Washington sniper used.

When it comes to violence, breaking laws and shredding the US Constitution, Ashcroft and
Bush will do it so that they can endorse their violent views of the world on Americans
They act like Osama and Hamas these days.

During his confirmation, John Ascroft promised that he wouldn't endorse assault weapons, but
he doesn't enforce background checks at gun shows so he supports the very terrorists that he
puts in jail because terrorists buy guns at gun shows and ship them out of the country.

The following is from an old post but it underscores Ashcroft's attraction to violence.

We need an Attorney General who supports gun laws to protect our kids.

John Ashcroft won't. He's against banning assault weapons. He's against
background checks at gun shows. He's against including child safety locks
with new handguns. He supports people carrying concealed loaded guns,
even at daycare centers and on school grounds! No wonder the National Rifle
Association spent more than $300,000 trying to get him reelected to
the Senate in November.
