I am listening to the CSCO conference call. CSCO has very significantly improved gross margins and lowered price/performance over the last 6 quarters. They mentioned the move from PLDs and ASICs as one of the means manufacturing engineering uses and has used to lower production costs. There was no indication that this is a policy change and strong indication that this is already reflected in the results of XLNX and ALTR.
