From Javad K. Hassan in the AM Communications 2002 Annual Report:
AM is prospering and growing dramatically. Under the worst economic conditions in recent history,
our Company will continue to grow according to plan.
our Company is acquiring market share with a new lean and mean software powered business operations model.
Now we are poised to deliver on the growth and performance that will reward you for your patience.
We looked at the problems encountered by our peer companies and realized that post-acquisition cost control was the key. To address this potential problem, we leveraged our key technology strengths and took the pre-emptive measure of building a software optimized business operations template that can be immediately applied to newly acquired businesses. This strategy has realized success within our new SRS Communications and AM Nex-Link which are now fully integrated into our software-controlled operations model.
our market share is increasing and our customers are pleased with our products. We have heard the voice of the customer, and we will soon be announcing several new product lines that will enable us to continue to meet ever-changing customer demands and assist us in remaining competitive within our industry.
I have recently challenged our management team to supercharge the AM engine and to take us to new heights that only a small number of companies in the world have achieved - Six Sigma quality. This will allow all of us at AM to continue to strive to make AM Communications the largest, finest, and most efficient company in our industry. This is my vision and goal, which is fully indorsed by our senior management and employees.
So there you have it. I promised you a transformed company, and it's happening. I promised you revenue and profitability growth, and it's happening. Now I'm promising you the finest company in the industry, and I have high hope that this will happen too.
As I've said in the past, my vision is clear, my resolve is unswerving, I have a solid team supporting me, and I'm excited about the future.
Sincerely, Javad K. Hassan Chairman and CEO

That was from the Annual Report 2002!
I did not type the complete story, I left out some because it was too much to type. You can get the feeling that every thing is on an up roar. It makes you wonder why the stock is so cheap, but you know it won't be cheap for long. |
