Rick,

I successfully connected to Verizon dsl today and have the Linksys router hooked up and connected too. It was so weird - when I first tried to configure the router I kept getting an error that the router was unable to make a connection to the internet and I should try turning the modem on and off. That didn't work so I called Verizon - while I had the tech person on the phone I accidently hit my reset button on the computer - I had to wait until it re-booted. When it came back on, the router was configured (on both computers) and the internet connection was there - GO FIGURE!
Anyhow, I do notice how much faster the dsl connection with Verizon is versus my dsl with SBC. Do you think it is the line or could the new modem have anything to do with it?
