You may be a fan, but he's not as smart as he sounds.
When I see someone developing a fan following on the Internet, it gives me a strong urge to put him on ignore...
Take a deep breath, Cyberken. I was hardly gushing, and I don't agree with DAK on a lot of things. My investing style is fairly different from his, although as someone with, I think, a value investor's instincts wandering around the biotech space, I've certainly learned a few things from him.
But it seemed to me that your original post to him was a bit condescending, and suggested you thought he was greener and a lot less smart than I know, from reading his posts over a number of years, him to be. And knowing he is a shrewd investor, and a pretty cautious one, I knew that there was precious little risk of him going broke, as you suggested he might.
So I put in a slight corrective. |
