they will go to bonds until it fails them
then they will turn once more to stocks
this might become a recycling effort
with gradual reduction in participants
then the non-recycled heads increasingly into gold

they are doing what they have learned to be successful for 40 years
why not?
these are conservative savers creditors
they dont gamble
but they do refuse zero real rate of return
thus the basis historically for turning to gold
