That is my mo, turning dross into gold..... Seriously, I mostly play options & futures now, but also have 20 or so "dogs" in inventory at any given time.
NT, VTSS and SXTN have been 3 recent big gainers.
They are all kinda crappy, fundamental wise, but t/a indicated the risk/reward was good.
To get an idea of how contrary I am to the herd, check the thread intro...I break all the rules, adding to positions on the way down, as I usually am wrong on my first buy round. It even works with turds like HAL & TYC, I was there at the bottom, as posted at that time on the rat thread.

I also agree with you that everything related to the street needs to be taken with a big grain of salt, they are all pretty much used car dealers with nice suits..
That said, I know I will never eat at the big table, but I make a nice living feeding off those table scraps. |
