Yes rain is good.. "The Good Rain", a name of a good book about Washington .. <g>.
But moving on, I have been thinking about the apathy of voters, a malady I think is more endemic with more liberal voters.. Why? I think the Libs do NOT have a selfish agenda. The Conservatives agenda is more egocentric, lower taxes, do what you want type behavior, a ME belief, etc..
While the Libs are looking outside their own self-interest, others social problems, environmental concerns, etc,, things that are anti to their own self interest and survival. (Hey, maybe I should be a conservative, I have two nicks to rub together and land in Washington, <g>, Nah, NEVER).
Maybe a person has more fervor for their own selfish cause..
Maybe us Libs see more good in people, think everyone is like themselves.. Are less afraid, more confident of themselves, therefore less fearful... and that leads to ..
More acceptance of others and their thoughts and therefore they become MORE APATHETIC. I don't know, I am just thinking out loud..
