> Vista could be a good one but I am looking at Kinross as one of my next acquisitions

In October 1992 I bought Plexus Resources for $US1.25. Plexus became the US-listing piece of a new firm called Kinross Gold, and I received 1.8 shares of KGC for each share of Plexus. Met Bob Buchan at September 1993 Las Vegas Gold Show and had great confidence in his plans. In February 1996, sold some of my Kinross for $US9.25 (wish I had sold all !!!) My $US1.25 turned into $US16.65 (over 13x), and remains one of my best picks ever.

KGC looks OK, but maybe buying into it via TVX or ECO might be a better way (need to look at ratios)

"The combination of the companies will be achieved by a Plan of Arrangement, whereby Echo Bay shareholders receive 0.52 of a Kinross share for each Echo Bay share and TVX shareholders receive 0.65 of a Kinross share for each TVX share (adjusted accordingly in the event TVX completes the previously approved ten-for-one share consolidation)."

KGC closed at $1.94
ECO closed at $0.99, you get (.52*1.94=1.008), 1.8% more
TVX closed at $12.44, you get(6.5*1.94=12.61), 1.3% more
ECO looks like the way to buy KGC (IMHO)
