Part of the problem is the financail structures of all these subsidiaries are very complicated, and frequently have items which are not disclosed (like loan conditions). This makes very difficult to tell the good from the bad, let alone the good from the not-so-good. So everything gets dragged down, and investors get a good price wtih a possbile hidden mine.

Sort of like the kids game of battleship, or the computer game Mine Runner.

Makes me happy to have some government bond funds and royalty trusts.

Even if TECO cut the dividend 30% to $1.00, the stock would be worth 15 or better.

But I expect it may see $11...

El Paso went under $5.00. I didn't buy it until it was about $7.80.
