Maurice,

I'm not one to start a scuffle, but Tero was right about very little and wrong about all the important issues surrounding wireless migration, timing, CDMA acceptance, WCDMA deployment, GPRS performance, regional standards slction, EDGE bandaid for Europe, all 3G legal matters and technical matters.

But, you're right. He was correct about cell phones becoming popular. He may have been right about cm for HS profitability and GSM market share (my pet bird could have told us that in 1999) but he was wrong about everything else.

Nice guy or not, he and other very intelligent people mislead the masses about the technical and legal truths about CDMA and 3G.

Where is the Wideband, Tero? What a joke. Hope your NOK phone enjoys that 30kbps GPRS data transfer. I laugh whhenever I see the AWE commercials. Yeah, like those phones can do that within an hour.

Disclaimer: I was wrong about earnings growth for QCOM and price targets, but I never mislead anyone about the technical, legal, acceptance and growth of CDMA and 3G.
