How did you protect the children who grew up never knowing who their father was? How do you support the children of the single teen mom? How about the children witnessing domestic violence and the children who are products of broken homes? Are you protecting the children living under the hopeless poverty and devastation brought on by addicted depressed and suicidal parents.

You can parse it out if it makes you feel better about enabling the dopes but the fact is chemical use and abuse is the primary factor contributing to the vast majority of these circumstances.

While you are making it all legal/acceptable, stop to consider the effects for a moment.
