Hi all; Kenneth Pollack predicts war with Iraq, but not until March:

U.S. expert expects confrontation with Iraq next March
Kuwaiti News Agency, November 8, 2002
An American expert in Iraq's affairs, Kenneth Pollack expected that the U.S. military strike against Iraq to start next March, since the weather will be very suitable, indicating that by that time the American military preparations will be accomplished.

Pollack who had previously worked for the Central Intelligence Agency "CIA", expressed in a statement to the Austrian newspaper "Die Presse", published here Friday, his belief the Iraq regime will be toppled by army officers.

The U.S. strategic expert and analyst explained that such a confrontation would require not less than 200,000 soldiers, in case Saddam decides to use bio-chemical weapons.

He expected the Americans to get the Iraqis' support and help, since they hate Saddam, especially the Kurds in the north and the Shiah in the south, indicating that the Shiah who are a majority in Iraq, will benefit if democracy is established in Iraq.
