>>Netscape is the next Microsoft<<

Netscape can not be the next microsoft.
I'm not making any prediction, I'm drawing conclusion, in an
investor's viewpoint. Think of it:

1. Where there such hype about Microsoft when it went public? In
Oct. 87? in 1990? Last year? Last month? Last year? In the
first couple weeks of July?

2. Who compets with Microsoft in a big way? Before 1989, AAPL,
period. Later, IBM, sort of. Still later, Lotus, Novell, NSCP,
just to name a few.

Netscape is not "the Next Microsoft" to begain with!

Could not agree more, though, Chen's commentaries worth a lot of
consideration. After all, we all know what counts most.
