"It's a zero sum game, as in any casino I wonder how those guys go about collecting regularly off the losers. That where their income must come from." They make their money from the spread. If the NDX moves 50 pts in your direction then you make 46 pts and they make 4. If it moves 50 pts against you, you lose 54 and they make 4. It's no more a casino than a brokerage account. A bad trader/investor will get wiped out whichever trading/investing vehicle he/she chooses.
