Presidents don't spend money.

That amounts to nothing more than a technicality.

The president proposes, and the president's party promotes budgets and spending.

Perhaps the GOP is just better at ramming their programs through, but amid all the hype, hoopla and two-party recriminations, the fact is that for whatever reason the GOP presides over the most massive expenditures, deficits and debt increases in their administrations in the past 25 years.

The truth is much different than the rhetoric.

And we're in for a repeat.
