Huh? How so? What's on your mind there or did you think it just sounded profound? Saying that democracy in a finite term is "it's" own corruption, rather than identifying smaller elements that may/would or do corrupt the whole, makes no sense.

Something does not corrupt itself. An unstable element of a unit could cause corruption. However if something in it's whole can be said to corrupt itself, you would simply be saying that something is what it is and is fluent or unstable. So you must be speaking of a characteristic, rather than a corruption.

Also make a note: We are speaking of a Representative Republic, rather than strict Democracy.
