Anyway all this talk about wages is crap. My lawyer in the USA charged me $350/hr in 1990, and he was cheap. He earned every cent of it too. A short fat jew who liked expensive cigars. He was very good.

I go out sailing in sail boat over 40 ft usually. Just a preference of mine. I charter them out. It's much cheaper then owning one. Remember, when you pass a Yacht Marina, at least half the people are looking out at you wishing they were as lucky as you not owning a boat. They are very expensive things.

You have to anchor in a suitable depth, so 40+ footers tend to be in the same place. I talk to those guys who can actually own a boat over 40 feet. 90% of them are dentists. This is true in the USA as well as the UK. Something to to do with taxes I think. The remaining 10% are Bankers, stockbrokers, drug dealers, CEO's, CFO's. The sea seems to take an awful toll on the criminal types though for some reason. Gods wrath I suppose.
