E, it is not acceptable in Islam to threaten someone for any reason whatsoever.... there are many ayehs in Quran that say not to be upset or saddened by people who renege... also, it is not an Islamic teaching to abuse women or anybody for that matter... NOT AT ALL... when such abuse occurs under the pretext of Islam, one needs to verify the validity of the claim before accepting it by face value and attributing it to Islam... I realize that there must be different kinds of abuse for sure... all I am saying is that it does not make a difference what the abuser's religion is... case in point... the Catholic Priests and the children... another, marital abuse in the USA or worldwide... the only difference here is that Islam has become a favorable target by people to blame for all the wrong doings of Muslims... regards amein
