BEIJING, Nov 10 (Reuters) - State planner Zeng Peiyan said on Sunday China's 2002 gross domestic product would grow some eight percent year on year and contracted FDI might hit a record of more than $50 billion, the Xinhua News Agency reported. "This year China's GDP is expected to exceed 10 trillion yuan ($1.2 trillion), an increase of some eight percent compared with last year," Zeng told a news conference on the sidelines of the 16th Communist Party Congress. "The total amount of import and export is likely to reach $600 billion, and contractual foreign direct investment will possibly record a new high of over $50 billion," he said. ($1=8.277 Yuan)
