That sounds very reasonable. It isn't the $US 280,000 that that UK plumber was supposedly earning which you said was peanuts compared to US salaries. This is me according to the survey: swz-fastcompany.salary.com Of course different academic disciplines earn very different salaries in the US unlike socialist Britain or Australia :) David
