HJM,re:"don't feel alone". Glad to know. I don't blame
anyone even though I feel there are definitely rampant
'fraud/cheat' around. Just say I've been outsmarted (no,
I'm not dumb, or...am I). As long as I'm healthy,
I'll do OK, thanks to my wife's ultra-conservative
investments. certificate of death (CD).
Were it not for "CHINA" constant threat, we'll go back to
Taiwan, where we can afford to buy a house (or 2),
more importantly, the Medical costs, the insurance cost.
And the 'layoffs' are getting closer and closer and you
can't teach an old dog new tricks. So, that's the last
attack I'm waiting for. By that time, I'll be over and
done with and I'll start getting 'snipper training' to
protect my family from the evil spirits.(ggg)

This trend of 'high-tech' layoffs is only the starter
phase. Reason is simple: the maturity of oversea talents
are starting to take fruit (pending on which side you are
on). If one don't see it, one is in denial. So, see you
in Walmart entrance someday. But I can't afford those places
that you live.
BTW: The CDs are the best performaning assets we have,
even after it's been brutally attacked by Greenspan.
I consider the 'wall-street crimes' as 'snipper attacks'
of different form. They are just as devastating as 'death'
to some. Actually, could be more painful and long lasting
suffering and consequence. |
