<I have had BMI 38k cable for about 6 months> David- Thanks! I spoke with BMI (Signal/DBC's sister co). It sounds great. Everything I am getting now w/PCQT for less. And I was VERY impressed with salesmen Craig Rogers. He used to be a technician so REALLY knows the products (He knows "Signal" well too). He ALSO trades the market himself. I told him I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to discuss the product line, and that I would recommend him. He said if anyone called referencing me (Steve Guich), he would give them a $110 discount, on TOP of the typical 30 day refundable trial offer. Craig's direct # is (800)841-6814. He confirmed what Chuck Thompson (head of DBC software engineering, so we are fortunate to have Chuck T's expertise here) has said - that there are a LOT of good things in store at BMI. There is some kind of in-house meeting/announcement this afternoon on their news products, which sound great. Fwiw, he also explained that some refinements (eg., knocking out the Canadian feed) on the "Signal" product (which is on a 4:1 compressed 19.2K feed) have resulted in the alleviation of the data lag others had reported there.
