I read the book but didn't see the video which supposedly has clips of individuals punching out chads on boxes of ballots. The authors filmed this video in Dade County Fla. Someday I might buy the video just to see how credible it appears.

The authors claim that many ballots were double punched so that the counting machines would nullify the vote on that line.

Example: If you had voted for Gore then they would punch another Presidential candidate which would be an "overvote" and be kicked out by the tallying machine.

Since some ballots disappeared then reappeared in 2000 then this scenario is possible.

I do remember that the audit of the election by the large band of newspapers and magazines found that Gore would have won if he had asked for a recount of the overvotes in the Republican leaning counties.

It's hard to be certain, but it does give a bit of credibility to the book since it was written many years before the 2000 election.

THe book declares that voter fraud occurs on both sides of the political horizon....both Republicans and Democrats are involved in it.

It does seem a bit unnerving that their was no oversight board monitoring the results during last Tuesday's elections.

SInce I have never worked on the tallying part of an election I have no idea what process is used to audit the results...............perhaps you can let us know?
