<<Something is wrong big in Philly and I hate to say it but since McNabb got his big contract this team has not been the same.>> Can't buy that, McNabb has played great games since that contract.
And last year we went through a "where the hell is the offense" for weeks at a time.
Dungy is defensive genius and he had McNabb at a loss and Reid had no answer or advice to give McNabb.
I will NEVER point my finger at McNabb , the guy wants to win.
As for McNabb not running when routes were open i have to see the tape , and i did not tape this disaster.
Did he have the time to see a route, was his head getting messed by not knowing what Dungy was working on him, did Dungy have a player lurking regularly to sucker McNabb to think there was a route, and then ring McNabb's bell, and McNabb saw that???
Bottomline, in my view, Dungy had a master plan, and Reid was totally and embarassingly out-coached--i have grave doubts he has the leadership capacity or offensive acumen to get this team consistent.
The offensive line can fail because their blocking assignments suck for what the defense is doing.
In the end, this goes to the coaching staff, imo.
Also, we do not want a team that only wins when the QB runs.
That is TOO much to ask of a QB.
As for the defense Mike, it also SUCKED, big time. Over 100yards to an unknown in the first half--MAJOR FAILURE on the defense. A failure so bad that the game was LOST by halftime.
It was a team effort Mike, they plain sucked from the top, the coaching staff on down, and, in my view, the defense sucked also.
I give the game ball to Tony Dungy. Max
