My tentative step was, er, tentative. This morning my lips felt like I had spent the weekend in the sun in the desert. I had applied Chap Stick before the tape, so that surprised me. I guess I must have breathed through my nose all night, given that the tape was still in place in the morning and that I'm still alive. :) That's funny! I know you're doing this for your gums but in spite of your sunburned lips, did your nose or your lungs feel any different? I ask that only because when I have tested friends and siblings for their control pulse so many test poorly. In fact, out of the roughly 40 people I have tested, only one would be consider healthy by Buteyko and only one other had a CP of 30+ which is satisfactory and my current level. Although my random sampling was not done scientifically, its very possible your CP is low. That's why I asked if you felt any difference. ted
