Get this! The Arab League vouted through Syria on the Security Council! Arab officials said today that several Arab League member states agreed with Syria's decision to vote in support of the resolution. Syria is the only Arab nation that holds one of the Security Council's rotating seats. A senior Syrian government spokeswoman, Bouthaina Shaaban, said today the decision was made "in consultation with other Arab nations and the secretary general of the Arab League."
