so, let's think about this for a moment, shall we?

what do you suppose is happening here?

are norton products all really crap, and i've just been lucky all these years?

or is symantec really making a quality product, and you haven't had any luck?

maybe it has nothing to do with luck. that's my guess.

maybe it has more to do with particular configurations.... operating systems overlaid with software programs of every imaginable type and version, patches installed or not installed, errors fixed or not fixed, systems maintained or not maintained, file versions new and old.... all thrown together and expected to miraculously produce reliable, similar, logical results.

and who's to say what's to blame?

i don't think symantec makes crap... i think you had a crappy experience.

and there's a big difference.
