AMI DODUCO Signs Agreement with Chinese Circuit Breaker Producer Monday November 11, 8:35 am ET biz.yahoo.com EXPORT, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2002--AMI DODUCO, a Technitrol Company (NYSE:TNL), has signed an agreement with the CHINT Group Wenzhou, People's Republic of China, to supply silver graphite electrical contact tips for circuit breakers. CHINT is China's largest producer of low voltage molded case circuit breakers and other electrical switching devices. Their IEC rated miniature circuit breakers are used in residential and non-residential construction. CHINT will specifically use AMI DODUCO contacts in its line of premium circuit breakers sold to the domestic Chinese market as well as export markets in Europe and other parts of the world.
AMI DODUCO will manufacture the electrical contacts at its facility in Tianjin, China. This facility produces a wide range of electrical contacts for use in automotive, appliance, industrial control, power distribution, and construction applications.
