What do UN inspectors do if they find nuclear scientists? Put them in a ditch and blow them up? I did not define US policy as regime change by invasion -- Cheney did that. I did not stand on my head and talk trash for two months to persuade the world that what we really meant was disarm or else -- Bush did that. Now, if Iraq does what the UN resolution calls for, it is going to be tough to do what the US planned to do from day one -- regime change by invasion. It would have been easier to be honest from day one -- we cannot tolerate a hostile regime with nuclear capability in the middle of the oil patch.
