Ameritrade - Caution! A few months ago I purchased some Genemax stock through Advanced Clearing, a division of Ameritrade. I have been demanding delivery of certificates for months from Ameritrade and while about 3% of the stock I purchased has been delivered as certificates, Ameritrade simply has not delivered any more, and they will give no timetable as to when or if they will ever deliver. I have paid a substantial sum for the stock, purchased in good faith and paid for it months ago. Ameritrade claims that failed deliveries from other brokers or dealers is the cause and I have had NASD investigate but to no avail.

There are evidently processes of buy-ins of X-cleared stock that Ameritrade is able to use in order to get the stock but for some reason they seem to be unable or unwilling to do it.

To all, just because a stock is shown in your account do not assume that it is really there! What you might own is just an expensive book entry!
