Nice stock thread over here. Anyway I disageee the US will NOT attack IRAQ just due to the oil. The US has plenty of Oil in Alaska and the Soviets also have ample supplies on its east coast to be developed. Both of these areas will end up being eaiser to develop than IRAQ. You question if there is any WMD. So do most americans. IRAQ can eaisly avoid an attack by allowing UN inspectors free and unfettered access. Sadamn now knows he has a choice and the current administraton is not just joing to send in a cruise missle when Sadamn makes a transgression. Unfortunately time has shown agressive types like Sadamn only agree to peace when someone is waving a bigger stick than they have (and the US may be forced to use it).
