2 years from now we could look back and say with certainty that "The Bear market ended on July 23, 2002. Market churned around for the next 6 months, some indices dropped lower, but overall markets made grudging forward progress until finally the new Bull kicked in for good".

Will we then go and create new models using July 23 as the beginning of the new Bull? Or use some predefined trigger?
