Richnorth - I agree with you.

Islam is going through its own "Dark Ages", which Christianity went through with witch hunts and tortures of the Inquisition.

Perhaps because it came 600 years after Christianity, or perhaps because it is a religion that more tries to rule many more aspects of daily life, Islam still has not gone through its own "Renaissance".

I dare say that when they do, it will probably be just as bloody as the Renaissance of Christianity.
