Re 'costly upgrade' This article gives the impression that Oracle is trying to gouge its customers (as M$FT is doing with exchange server for example) No doubt there will be costs incurred in the upgrade process as for any upgrade (time and labor) but AFAIK there is no licence charge to upgrade to 11i applications, unless you wish to take new 11i applications at the same time.
