J.P. Morgan cuts H-P's 2003 earn outlook (HPQ)

J.P. Morgan analyst Bill Shope has lowered his fiscal 2003 earnings expectations for Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) to $1.14 a share from $1.20 a share, given that the company's enterprise business is improving at a slower than expected pace and that the current above average printing margins are not sustainable.

In addition, Shope believes the departure of Michael Cappelas could disrupt the integration process of the Compaq Computer acquisition.

Meanwhile, the stock, a component of the Dow industrials, is adding 54 cents to $15.39, rebounding from Monday's $1.83 slide.
