the biggest absurdities I see are:

- Americans think the trade gap is no big deal, even at 5-6% of US GDP
- Americans dont regard our nation as vulnerable since 45% of the FedDebt is foreign owned
- Americans believe the dollar can come down to a nice pretty comfy cozey lower level without any disruptions to our financial markets or economy
