Well, what's long term... there are plenty of long periods where cash has outperformed stocks... even in the US. And of course we're speaking strictly from a 'ledger' viewpoint... taking into account the damage done to all the life forms on the planet, investment may very well have a large negative return. We'll have to check that out in future lifetimes. :O) DAK
