If the barriers to immigration were lifted and anyone who bought a citizenship could just show up any time, you wouldn't have had all the hassles. Just bid for and buy a citizenship [presumably criminals, disease carriers and certain others might be not allowed to hold citizenship], then away you go. No bureaucrats, no delays, no muss, no fuss.
