Do you know when I first became wary of her? It was way back, about a year ago; it was before she had broken down completely, and before she viciously attacked all those who had befriended her. Was she speaking to you or to E? I can't remember...

Anyway....she said something to the effect that she never EVER forgave people--never had--never would. And I thought: What a weird and absolutely childish response? Houston, we have a BIG problem...

I knew then that her emotional development had been halted at an early age, and that she could never handle the vulnerability, the give and take, and the emotional "risk" of dealing with "real" humans--with all their needs and imperfections.

Subsequent events have certainly shown that my unremarkable insights were well-grounded. It has been very sad, hasn't it?

But one must respect the place where she is at: She is not "real" to anyone (as she pleads with much wringing of the hands). And her only preference for thread intercourse is name-calling and insults. She has found a way to escape from people (from life), hasn't she? Life is just one big movie...:-)

How are things, Poet? I saw some family Ottawa way, and had a wonderful time. But it is always hard to see how age just marches and marches on!<g> Still--it was great to refresh old memories, and to invent new ones...<g>
