This statement is untrue. If you have evidence, let's see it, otherwise, you're simply misreprenting the facts to support your liberal agenda.

Press conferences by the current prez are a joke. Mostly because they don't exist, he doesn't take questions, and is obviously a nullity. The decisions are made in the back room by non-press-conferencing Cheney et al.

Actually, I find the press conferences to be a breath of fresh air. You may remember the previous administration, in which press conferences were nothing more than a series of lies. While Bush himself doesn't take questions often, Rumsfeld and Fleicher have BOTH been extremely forthcoming about issues which are suitable for public consumption. But the overriding factor is that when the Bush administration speaks, you know you're getting the truth. The previous administration was comprised of pathological liars from top to bottom.
