Let you imagination run wild -

start joint venture overseas, but make sure that your % share is less than that needed to be reported in income tax sheet to IRS

hold all 'income' overseas for further investment capital to further business, you get really good tax breaks overseas and so won't have to pay the taxman here

when overseas 'business' is big enough, do a reverse buy-out and let the overseas business absorb the US parent.

Viola!! Now all your assest is overseas and protected from all the lawyers in this country!!

PS for those interested, these 'fabless' guys have been pulling 'profits' back as needed to dress up the parent's balance sheets - Trident die $14M, ALSC did $2M on the surface (IMHO, not really that if you do look underneath the surface), SIII did $7M yesterday. There are untold $MMM in the bank over there that's not on any US balance sheets!

ALSC has guarenteed wafer starts AND foundry business. If the shortage is really here like I suspect, we'll be in fat city.
